Balance in life is dynamic: constantly shifting, adjusting and changing. I have to go with the flow and keep moving.

I must separate the essential from the noise, and determine whether action or patience is needed.

If the educational value of a mistake is equal to or less than college tuition, I’m ahead.

Is there a risk factor I’m not aware of? Am I being too careful? What factors can or can’t I control? Being afraid isn’t always a bad thing.

I want to believe the universe is a friendly place, and I want to come from a place of love, not fear.

I need to reach out to others on their terms, communicate good intent, and check for understanding.

My grapevines remind me that I have to have priorities, as my time and energy isn't infinite.

A purely decorative area of landscaping is teaching me to be less relentlessly practical, more experimental and less of a control freak.

Change can be overwhelming, and I must choose resilience when it washes over me.
